Accessible Hospice Care
As the focus shifts from finding a cure to providing comfort, hospice care emphasizes quality of life by managing pain and symptoms with dignity and respect to honor the patient’s goals, beliefs, and wishes for their remaining time.
Though unique to each individual, it is most common for patients to enter hospice care when given a prognosis of six months or less.
Hospice of Davidson County has provided a team approach to expert medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support following a terminal diagnosis from illness or injury since 1985.
Anyone can make a referral once the patient’s physician has determined that they have a limited life expectancy. Contact one of our intake coordinators at 336-475-5444 to begin the certification process.
Patient and Caregiver End-Of-Life Support
End of life support is an invaluable service and a true comfort for families as they say good-bye. We are truly grateful that Hospice of Davidson County was there for us.
