HODC Hosts Annual Night of Reflection Event for Community Members

Hospice of Davidson County (HODC) invites community members to honor loved ones through its annual ornament and luminary sale and the corresponding Night of Reflection event.

The Night of Reflection will be held Thursday, December 5th from 5-7 p.m. on the HODC Campus, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC. This free, floating event offers the opportunity to explore our campus, locate your luminary, and pick up your collectible ornament. You will also have the option to have your ornament personalized. Other plans for the evening include participation in creative activities, a time for reflection and fellowship, and refreshments for your enjoyment.

In conjunction with the annual Night of Reflection event, luminaries may be purchased and personalized in honor or memory of loved ones HERE. Luminaries are $10 each and displayed with personalized name cards on the HODC campus (200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC) from December 2nd until January 2nd. Community members are invited to visit our campus beginning Monday, December 2nd to view the luminaries and honor the collective memories of loved ones.

HODC offers a collectible holiday memorial ornament for purchase and personalization. The 2024 Collectible Ornament is a navy star with the Hospice of Davidson County name featured in the middle. The ornaments, created by MissionsPotteryAndMore.com in Lexington, are $20 each and may be personalized. Ornaments may be purchased HERE. You may pick-up ornaments from the HODC Administration Building (200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. starting Monday, December 2nd through Monday, December 23rd, or during the Night of Reflection event on December 5th.

Proceeds from the ornament and luminary sales enable HODC to provide compassionate care and grief support resources to patients, families, and all community members of Davidson County.
