A free community ‘Night of Reflection’ event will be held Thursday, December 6
LEXINGTON, N.C. – (Nov. 20, 2018) –Hospice of Davidson County is providing several opportunities for those in the community to remember loved ones and honor cherished memories through its annual ornament and luminary sale and Night of Reflection event.
This year’s ornament is a ceramic circle ornament with a photo of a rose from the Nancy and Gordon Wright Rose Garden a feature of the Hospice of Davidson County Serenity Garden and is available for $12. For $10, also available for purchase are luminaries in honor or memory of a loved one. An ornament and luminary may be purchased together for $20. The luminaries will be lit and displayed at Hospice of Davidson County located at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, throughout the holiday season. Each luminary will hold a card honoring or memorializing a loved one.
The Night of Reflection is set for Thursday, Dec. 6 from 5:30-8 p.m. with guided moments of reflection every half hour. At this free, floating event, community members can visit the Hospice of Davidson County campus to view the lit luminaries while listening to live music and enjoying light refreshments. In addition, a children’s craft opportunity will be available in the administration building.

Ornaments may be picked up throughout the season, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or at the Night of Reflection. Proceeds from the ornaments and luminaries are designated for the compassionate care and grief support of the agency’s patients and families facing a life limiting illness.
