COVID-19 Support

The Coronavirus Pandemic | Community Support

There is no question that the coronavirus has impacted our operations. Now in year 3 of the pandemic, we are called to be good stewards of our resources to ensure our ability to meet growing patient care needs. Here are just a few examples of our efforts to sustain the Hospice of Davidson County mission:

  • Expanding TapCloud, our HIPAA-compliant telehealth program
  • Offering online grief and bereavement programming with our licensed counselors
  • Expanding phone support programs offered by members of our clinical and volunteer teams
  • Developing additional partnerships to source much-needed items such as personal protection equipment (PPE)
  • Implementing virtual platforms and systems to increase efficiencies and communications

How Can You Support?

The coronavirus pandemic not only impacts the way we operate, but it also impacts our ability to raise funds for the foreseeable future. Now more than ever, we need your support to ensure services for all, regardless of ability to pay.

If delivering donations, please call 336-474-2096 when you arrive, and someone will meet you at your car to accept your donation.

Hospice of Davidson County cared for its first patient almost 40 years ago. Despite today’s challenges, with your support, we can continue to care for our families, friends, and community for years to come.

Together we can offer exceptional hospice care for the residents of Davidson County.

Recognizing Our Heroes

Recognizing Our Heroes

Right now, our Hospice of Davidson County Healthcare workers are on the front lines of managing the care of those who need end-of-life care. They are doing it with the continued threat of the COVID-19 virus.

These Hospice Heroes are potentially putting themselves in harm’s way to ensure every patient is receiving the care he or she needs.

We are so proud and extremely grateful for our care providers and all of our compassionate employees at this time of crisis. But we also realize the care and support teams here make up just a fraction of the healthcare workers around the world that are helping battle this worldwide pandemic.

Please take just a moment to send a THANK YOU, or share a simple note of encouragement to all of the members of our team and healthcare workers.

Thank A Hospice Hero
